Taste the Rainbow šŸŒˆ

I know I said I was going to swear off stripes during my pregnancy. But what I really meant were those boring two-tone ones!

I wore this bright colored midi-length dress to work and I was astonished at all the compliments it received. It may just be because it is pride weekend in NYC. However, Iā€™d liked to think it was because the fit was effortless and it paired well with the natural fro Iā€™m currently rocking.

I wore my dress with bright neon yellow mules and accentuated it with the matching ankle cuffs (secretly trying to hide my currently swollen ankles). I accessorized with a tan/gold wide cuff, gold medallion necklace and a mini circular shaped bag. I could have easily seen a woven/raffia bag with this combo.

While I wore this dress to the office, it could easily be styled for the weekend with flats slip-ons, or as a beach cover up with a sun hat.

Sharing some of my favorite bright striped dresses now online, including the one I am wearing in the pictures. There is also a popular one-shoulder dress in a similar color floating around on numerous bloggers on Instagram, which I am happily adding as well.

Note: My baby dot wanted in on the photo shoot fun and decided to go on a kicking frenzy, hence all the off guard laughing below. Made for a great snap to me!
