Printed Sets + Clear Heels

I always believe that style should be easy. To clarify when I say easy I mean don't make getting dressed a stressful process. One way I have learned to do this is through sets.  It can be an actually suit, or a matching ensemble.

I know many try to shy away from this, but believe me it always comes out sleek and put together. One way you can break it up is by purchasing different colors of the set in the same or similar print, creating a Gucci inspired look as I call it.

The set I am wearing is by Nikki Chasin, who is a New York based designer set out to combine the ease of classic sportswear with playful textiles and thoughtful details. I found it at a multi-vendor sample sale that was hosted by Veda Showroom. I was drawn to the print, the A-line cut of the skirt, and the cap sleeve top that ballooned in the back when tucked in. Both pieces cost me $25 each. A steal, since the top alone retailed at $325. I paired with a pair of Jeffrey Campbell heels I got free using Nordstrom notes at Nordstrom Rack, and my Saint Laurent Sac De Jour I found at Century21 Department stores during the Up to 90% off Clearance Sale.
