Tropical Prints

I'm taking a break from traveling and spending the rest of the summer in NYC. But that doesn't mean I can't  bring the palm trees, bamboo, fruity drinks with umbrellas, and chic bathing suits to my own backyard.

Botanical prints have been huge for summer. I am loving the many palm motif; green/white combo currently in the stores. I like it paired with a straw shoulder bag, shopper or tote. Which you can practically find available at every price point now. I found mine in a small shop in Ubud, Bali.

A few bag choices for inspiration;

As I have stated before, I always recommend a hi/low combination of styling. It allows you to mix trends and seasonless designer items seamlessly. This Tropical Print Ruffle Slip Summer Dress dress I purchased off a new website for me Zafu l. They are based overseas and carry an array of products, leaving you to scroll for hours. This palm print dress arrived in about 7 business days. I was pleasantly impressed with the quality and happy about the $16.99 price point. The bias cut was flattering and added flair to the day dress. I paired with sky high Balenciaga Platforms that were seen on the first runway show from designer Demna Gvasalia.
