Sale Review: Lafayette 148

I had the opportunity to visit the Lafayette 148 sale before it opens this morning at 9 a.m., and if you are looking for great Spring pieces to add into your work-wear wardrobe this is one not to miss. If you are a true lover of the brand I also recommend going for there were a few key best sellers in the mix. For that shopper that likes to prepare for the upcoming season for less; cozy sweaters, wool blazers, structured coats, and puffers are available in limited quantity.

A little bit of background for those unaware of the brand, Lafayette 148 New York produces enduring designs known for their high quality and exceptional fit. The line can be found at the company’s own Concept Store located on the 8th floor of their New York office and their retail store on Broome Street in SoHo . Department stores such as Saks Fifth Avenue, Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom and Bloomingdales carry the line as well, but to take advantage of these special prices you need to make it to this sale. You are able to save up to 80% off retail and that is a deal you can't beat.

Clothing is available is Missy, Plus, and Petite fits.  The size run of the sale goes from 0- 24. At this sale 2, 10,and 12 tend to sell quickly. So go early ladies if this is you! But from what I could see the assortment is plentiful.

The floor is merchandised by category and colorways, which makes it easy to shop. All tops, blouses, and sweaters are on circular racks in the center. While scarves, dresses, and pants line the walls. Take a look of some of the pictures from inside. I have also highlighted some staples, best sellers, and my picks.

Dresses in the back are mainly from the Spring Collection. I loved the brown and nude tones. I also spotted one of my favorites; the Mariposa dress in white.  I was hoping to spot the Natalya dress I have been eyeing online, but no luck.
