Dressing for the inside of your home is just as; if not more important. Especially for me these days, because with a newborn I am spending almost all of my time in the apartment. With the cold months and the holidays approaching, I assume this is the same for most of my readers.

If I want to be completely honest you can wear most of this outside as well, so the styling possibilities are endless.

Also, I am a advocate for shopping with brands with a strong message. Their #AerieReal movement with the message of, “Girl power. Body positivity. No retouching” really resonates with me. Mainly because I’m not a small girl, want to feel confident in my skin and enjoy all sizes and shapes being represented on a website. Secondly, I hate that sometimes social media makes you feel like you need to always be picture-perfect. Lastly, these are values I want to instill in my daughter as she gets older.

I wanted to share with you guys not only some of my favorite pieces I modeled, but those that I tried on in the store afterwards and have checked onto my wishlist. My dad already told me he bought my gift from the Aerie store...so I’ll be sure to share that on Christmas Day!
